Peuterspelen De Regenboog is located on the premises of the open Christian primary school De Regenboog at Schoolstraat 9 in Holten. Since January 2023 we provide toddler care on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM in partnership with Kinderopvang Dijkerhoek. We welcome up to 16 children per session in two horizontal groups for children aged 2 to 4. Our programme is designed to prepare toddlers for primary school in a playful way. We use the development programme Kiki: the children explore the world together with their bear Kiki within a changing theme. Activities stimulate language, motor skills, social-emotional development and creativity – think of crafts, singing, story time and role play, always tailored to the toddler’s world of experience. The rooms are toddler-proof and offer various play and learning corners. We make use of the safe indoor and outdoor spaces of the primary school, such as the kindergarten playground, where our toddlers regularly play together with the kindergartners. The short lines with group 1/2 ensure a smooth transition when your child turns four. Our team consists of experienced pedagogical staff from Kinderopvang Dijkerhoek who are present every morning at De Regenboog. They guarantee a warm, safe environment in which every child feels seen and valued. Parents are actively involved through parent-child conversations and are always welcome to drop in for a chat.
