Peuterspelen De Rank

Peuterspelen De Rank is a warm, small-scale toddler care centre in the heart of Deventer, located at Andriessenplein 12. We are part of Sam&ko and work closely with primary school De Rank. This means your child can grow up in one familiar place: from toddler care to primary school and, if desired, on to after-school care. Our team of qualified pedagogical staff is ready every morning to give children aged 2 to 4 a safe, playful and educational start. Learning, playing and discovering together are at the heart of what we do. We use the recognised Early Childhood Education (ECE) programme Piramide, in which we develop themes that connect with toddlers’ world of experience. These themes are reflected in songs, stories and crafts. In this way we naturally stimulate language, motor, social and cognitive development. The rooms are cosy and child-friendly, with different play and learning corners that invite exploration. Adjacent to the group room is a secure, green outdoor area where children can run, build sandcastles and discover what nature has to offer. Our toddler group is open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 08:30 to 12:00. During school holidays the playgroup is closed. We offer both 8 hours (two sessions) and 16 hours (four sessions) of care per week. When registering, you can indicate your preferred sessions. Thanks to our close cooperation with the primary school, the transition to Year 1 is smooth and familiar. Children who attend our toddler care also have a guaranteed place in after-school care if you wish to use it later. We value personal contact with parents.
