Klein Duimpje

Peuterspeelzaal Klein Duimpje is an independent daycare centre located at Karekietpark 16 in Purmerend. We provide half-day care for toddlers aged 2 to 4 years in a safe and familiar environment. Our goal is to stimulate your child's development through playful learning. At Klein Duimpje, we follow the recognised Early Childhood Education (VVE) method 'Speelplezier'. This methodology focuses on language, numeracy, motor skills and social-emotional development. We offer a structured programme in fixed age groups, using themed corners such as a construction corner, home corner, reading and chatter corner, and an atelier. Children have daily opportunities to play, discover and learn with peers. Our activities are focused on your child's development. We sing, do arts and crafts, play outdoors and do gymnastics. We also pay attention to language development through reading aloud, circle time and learning new words. Children are introduced to numbers, shapes and colours and develop their creativity through drawing, painting and crafting. We believe it is important that children feel safe and comfortable with us. Our pedagogical staff are involved and ensure an open and relaxed atmosphere. We work closely with parents and offer the opportunity for a no-obligation tour so you can get to know our location and our approach. Peuterspeelzaal Klein Duimpje is specially designed for toddlers aged 2 to 4 years. We offer sessions on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings and afternoons, and Friday mornings. Your child will playfully prepare for primary school in a familiar and stimulating environment.
