Peuterspeelzaal Kikkerhof

Welcome to Peuterspeelzaal De Kikkerhof, a Protestant-Christian toddler care centre located in the heart of Nunspeet. At our location on Troelstrastraat 21, we provide a safe and familiar environment where children aged 2 to 4 years can play, learn and grow. With a maximum of 16 children per session, we keep our groups small and manageable so that every child receives the attention they deserve. Our toddler care centre operates from a clear Christian identity. We sing together, pray before meals and tell Bible stories that connect with the world of young children. Through play, toddlers become acquainted with familiar stories and values that help them grow in confidence and connection. We work with a fixed daily rhythm that provides peace and regularity. The morning begins with a shared moment of welcome and singing. This is followed by playtime where we work thematically with "Bas in de classroom" – recognisable themes that connect with the toddler's world. Think of seasons, animals, traffic or family. During thematic work, language development, motor skills and social skills are addressed in a playful way. Crafting and creative activities form an important part of our programme. We work with various materials such as paint, clay, paper and natural materials. The children learn to develop their imagination and creativity while simultaneously developing their fine motor skills. Our toddler care centre is open 7 hours per week, spread over 2 or 3 sessions. This provides children with the opportunity to prepare for primary school in a familiar environment. For children with a VVE indication, there is the possibility to receive additional hours.
