Peuterspeelzaal Hompeltje

Peuterspeelzaal Hompeltje is located at Morgenster 2 in Nijverdal and is part of the Stichting Peuterspeelzalen Gemeente Hellendoorn (SPGH). We provide preschool education for toddlers aged 2 to 4 years in a safe and stimulating environment. Our toddler playgroup is open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings from 8:15 AM to 12:15 PM. We work with small groups of maximum 16 children, allowing us to give individual attention to each child. Our pedagogical staff are all well-trained and receive extensive annual training to optimally guide your child's development. At Hompeltje, we believe it's important that every child gets the chance to develop optimally and be well-prepared for primary school. We therefore consciously align with school hours and educational forms of primary education, ensuring a smooth transition for the children. We offer various activities such as singing, reading books, crafts, bread baking and outdoor play in our garden. We have intensive collaboration with nearby primary schools. Through transfer forms, shared methods and transfer conversations, we create a 'continuous learning line' for the children. Our speech therapist regularly visits the group to observe children with potential language or speech delays and to guide staff and parents. We offer flexible childcare options so that as many toddlers as possible can benefit from our preschool education and make a good start in education.
