Peuterspeelzaal Dreumes

Peuterspeelzaal Dreumes is a branch of the Stichting Peuterspeelzalen Gemeente Hellendoorn (SPGH) and is located at P C Stamstraat 2 in the centre of Nijverdal, close to the shopping area. We provide toddler care for up to 16 children per session, aged 2 to 4 years. Our groups are horizontally organised so that all children in the same developmental stage can play and learn together. We follow the principles of Early Childhood Education (VVE). This means that we work playfully on language, numeracy, social and motor skills, so that your child starts primary school well-prepared. Every morning our experienced, VVE-certified pedagogical staff offer a varied programme: we sing, make music, do arts and crafts, read stories and go outside to play in our secure garden. A speech therapist visits regularly to observe children with (potential) language delays and to support parents and staff. A session starts at 8.15 a.m. and ends at 12.15 p.m. You can choose 2, 3, 4 or 5 mornings per week and there is an option to stay until 2 p.m. During the fruit break and lunch we sit together; bread and healthy snacks are provided by us and we take allergies into account. We maintain close contact with local primary schools: through transfer forms, shared methods and transition meetings we ensure a smooth move to Year 1-2.
