Peuteropvang De Vlinderboom

Welcome to Peuteropvang De Vlinderboom, located at Kelvinstraat 3 in Maastricht. We are part of Kindcentrum de Vlinderboom and provide professional preschool education for children aged 2 to 4 years. Our toddler care is housed in a separate space within the child center, where a homely and secure atmosphere is central. We work with the VVE method 'Speelplezier', a recognized program that stimulates your child's development through play. This method focuses on language development, social skills and school readiness, while connecting to the toddler's world of experience. Our group is challenging and playfully arranged with various development corners such as a home corner and a construction corner, where children can discover and learn through play. The outdoor space is an important part of our program. We have a spacious outdoor playground where children have the opportunity to move and discover nature on a daily basis. In addition, we regularly use the gym for motor activities and games that stimulate gross motor skills. Our toddler care accommodates up to 16 toddlers in a horizontal group structure. We operate for 40 weeks per year and offer flexible childcare options, including half-day care. Healthy nutrition is important to us; we provide fruit and healthy snacks for the children during childcare hours. As a team of experienced pedagogical staff, we are ready to guide your child through this important developmental phase. We work closely with parents and caregivers to best meet the needs of each child. Our location is centrally located near shopping center and access roads, which makes the combination of work and childcare easier for parents.
