Peuterspeelzaal de Vlashoek

Peuterspeelzaal De Vlashoek is located within the Integral Child Centre De Vlashoek at Van Koetsveldlaan 19 in Westmaas. From our location we provide toddlers with a safe and familiar place where they can grow and develop through play. Sharing together and playing together are central to our approach. By playing together with other children, toddlers strengthen their social skills and learn from each other. We work with the tracking system ‘KIJK-Peuters’. We use this system daily to carefully monitor and record each child's development. In this way we tailor our activities to what the child needs and we can properly inform parents about their child's progress. Our playgroup is officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 295029936. We provide care for a maximum of 15 children per session. Toddlers can visit us on Monday morning, Tuesday morning, Wednesday morning and Friday morning from 8:20 am to 12:20 pm. Various combinations of sessions are possible: Monday morning-Wednesday morning or Tuesday morning-Friday morning. This setup offers flexibility and meets the wishes of parents and the development of the child. Peuterspeelzaal De Vlashoek is part of De Hoeksche School. Our location allows toddlers to get to know primary school in a low-threshold and familiar way. This gradual transition ensures that children feel safe when they later take the step to primary school. We work intensively with the primary school within the same building, which makes the transition easier and more familiar for children.
