Peuterspeelzaal De Speeldoos

Welcome to PSZ De Speeldoos, a cosy toddler group located in the Kerkelanden district of Lelystad. We provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 in a homely setting where everyone knows each other. In one group of up to 16 children, toddlers are given the space to play, discover and grow at their own pace. Everything we do revolves around learning through play. We use the Early Childhood Education programme ‘Uk & Puk’ to stimulate language, motor and social-emotional development in a playful way. Puppet Puk experiences all kinds of adventures together with the children and invites them to sing, build, craft and tell stories. In this way toddlers practise new words, refine their fine motor skills and learn to play together. Our spacious, naturally designed garden is a true discovery paradise. We regularly go out: a walk through the neighbourhood, a little shopping or playing in the outdoor corners. Inside there is a quiet reading corner, a creative craft area and a construction corner where imagination can run free. We are linked to primary school Bargerpaske, so the children already become familiar with the school environment. PSZ De Speeldoos is open 40 weeks a year from 08:00 to 13:00. Toddlers can come to play two or four mornings a week, depending on their ECE indication. We work with a fixed, familiar daily rhythm that allows room for individual attention. Our qualified pedagogical staff know every child and closely follow their development.
