Stichting Peuterspeelzalen Hardinxveld-Giessendam De Snaters

Peuteropvang De Snaters is part of Stichting Peuterspeelzalen Hardinxveld-Giessendam and is located at Pietersweer 32A in Hardinxveld-Giessendam. Since 2015, we have provided a safe and stimulating environment for toddlers aged approximately 2 to 4 years. Since March 2024, we operate two horizontal groups: De Snaters (2–4 years) and De Matrozen (3–4 years). Our spacious location is open to all children, regardless of background, religion, or culture. Our qualified pedagogical staff hold VE (Early Childhood Education) certificates. They guide toddlers in play-based learning to support their all-round development, ensuring they start primary school with a “well-filled backpack.” We use a structured VVE curriculum that stimulates development in language, numeracy, social-emotional skills, and motor skills. Each theme is carefully prepared and adapted to the children’s needs at that moment. Activities focus on language development, creative expression, and social skills. We sing together, do arts and crafts, and read picture books. We also offer games that support fine motor skills and early numeracy. We believe it is important for toddlers to learn to play together, share, and communicate with peers. This not only promotes their social development but also helps them get used to a structured environment, making the transition to primary school as smooth as possible. Parents are always welcome to come and take a look. The best times for a visit are around 10:15 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. We work closely with parents and keep them informed through theme letters about the topics, words, songs, and activities covered, so they can reinforce these themes at home and further support their child’s development.
