Welcome to peuterspeelzaal De Smurfen, located at Achter de Molen 14 in Dalfsen. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. Our toddler care operates with horizontal groups, where 2- and 3-year-olds are together in one group. Children learn from and help each other in a safe and familiar environment. We follow a clear pedagogical approach using the VE program Piramide. Each morning starts with free play or crafts in our spacious classroom. At 9:45 AM we clean up together, then sit in a circle to sing our 'good morning song'. We have a circle discussion and sing songs related to the current theme. During each session children play outside on the specially equipped playground for children up to six years. In bad weather children exercise in the gymnasium of Anne Frank school. We end the day with the circle and farewell song: goodbye everyone. At peuterspeelzaal De Smurfen your child's development is central. We provide Preschool Education (VE) to prevent developmental delays and prepare your child playfully for primary school. We work closely with primary schools in Hoogkerk, WIJ teams and the library. Twice a year we organize a district-wide activity together with all schools. Our toddler care aims to provide children with a safe foundation; a relaxed place where children can be themselves and where they learn and grow through play.
