Peuterspeelzaal Christoffeltje

Welcome to Peuterspeelzaal Christoffeltje, a homely toddler care centre located at Ossendrechtstraat 14 in Almere. We are part of Stichting Vrije Peuterspeelzaal Almere and provide small-scale, anthroposophically inspired care for up to 15 children aged 2 to 4 years. Our playroom is furnished with warm, natural materials and soft colours that radiate calm and security. We follow a fixed daily rhythm in which free play, circle activities, fruit time, a bread meal and outdoor play alternate in a familiar pattern. Throughout the year we experience the seasons together with matching songs, stories and seasonal festivals. Learning and discovering through play is central. We offer simple, sensory activities such as baking bread, crafting with natural materials, singing and reading aloud. Our pedagogical staff closely follow each child’s development and tailor activities to their world of experience. Our outdoor garden invites movement, sand and water fun and discovering nature. We believe it is important that children feel safe and seen. Our small group size makes intensive, personal attention possible.
