Peuterspeelzaal Billies

Welcome to Peuterspeelzaal Billies at Weegschaalstraat 1 in Eindhoven. We are part of the trusted Billies organisation and have been providing small-scale, personal childcare in the heart of Eckart for more than ten years. At this location we welcome a maximum of 16 children per day, divided into clearly defined baby, toddler and pre-school groups. This keeps the atmosphere calm and homely and every child receives the attention they deserve. We follow the Early Childhood Education programme (VVE) using the themes of Uk & Puk, a recognised method that playfully stimulates language, numeracy and social skills. The activities match the world of experience of young children: we read aloud, sing songs, do crafts with different materials and regularly go into the garden for fresh air and discoveries. Our aim is to prepare children for primary school through play, without turning it into performance pressure. The rooms are safe and colourfully furnished, with separate sleeping rooms for the very youngest and a large, green garden where children can run, build sandcastles or simply enjoy playing outside. Our permanent pedagogical staff – including Linda, Marieke and Monique – are ready every morning with a smile and a listening ear. They know every child and every parent personally, so that we can respond together to individual needs and routines. At Billies everything revolves around trust and connection. We find it important that parents feel welcome: feel free to drop in for a cup of coffee or make an appointment for a tour. Together we ensure that your child feels safe, happy and challenged, every day.
