Peuterspeelzaal Bavinck

Peuterspeelzaal Bavinck is a toddler care facility run by IKC De Bavinck, located at Da Costastraat 26 in Vlaardingen. We provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years in a safe and familiar environment. Our toddler group, De Dolfijnen, is open during school weeks (40 weeks per year) from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Toddlers attend one fixed day per week. Toddlers with a VVE indication come three days per week. We operate from a Christian identity and follow a clear pedagogical policy. Learning through play is our starting point. We offer a fixed daily routine that provides structure, safety, and familiarity. Through themed activities, we stimulate all areas of toddler development. We actively involve parents in the themes, so you can practice words, songs, and games at home. We use the LOGO 3000 vocabulary method and the BOSOS observation system to track your child's development. Our groups have a maximum of 16 children, and we work with familiar faces. Upon registration, parents receive a form assigning a mentor to their child. We regularly organize the Toddler Lab by Stichting Aanzet, where parents and grandparents can join activities with their (grand)child. We collaborate with the same team, the same parent policy, and the same form of communication. This provides your child with optimal development and a smooth transition to primary school.
