Peuterspeelzaal Balade

Peuterspeelzaal Balade is part of Kindcentrum BaLaDe, located in the multifunctional BaLaDe building on Heermanslaan in Waalwijk. We are a preschool playgroup for children aged 2 to 4 years and work closely with Baardwijk Primary School, Stichting Prisma and Kentalis. Our playgroup is designed to prepare children for primary school through play. We use the Early Childhood Education (VE) method, with themes that match the children's interests and world. There is a large outdoor area where children go every day. We have our own space on the playground with natural materials that encourage play. In addition, we organize an annual exchange project with the primary school, where the oldest toddlers play with the kindergarten children every month. They can then join activities such as reading aloud or crafts. This ensures a smooth transition to primary school. Our professional pedagogical staff give each child the space to develop at his or her own pace. We work in small groups of up to 14 to 16 children with two professionals. There is a lot of attention for language development and creative activities such as crafts. We believe it is important that children feel safe and secure, so that they can discover and learn with confidence.
