Peuterspeelschool Berflo

Peuterspeelschool De Vlinder is located inside the Integral Child Centre (IKC) ’t Berflo at Apolloplein 1 in Hengelo. We are a pre-school playgroup for children aged 2 to 4 and are part of the Spring! education organisation, governed by school board Symbio. The same building also houses primary schools Paus Joannes and Mikado, childcare provider Partou, speech therapy and paediatric physiotherapy. This close cooperation makes the transition from playgroup to the infant classes smooth and familiar. Children can attend for 8 hours per week (two half-days) or 16 hours per week (four half-days). We run two fixed horizontal groups: the Blue Butterfly (Mon–Thu 08:30-12:30) and the Yellow Butterfly (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 08:30-12:30). When you register you can indicate your preferred sessions. Our qualified pedagogical staff provide pre-school education (VVE) with passion and care, tailoring activities to each toddler’s developmental needs. We use themes that align with the infant classes and share the same child-tracking system, keeping lines of communication short. Quality and safety are paramount: the Municipal Health Service (GGD) visits us annually to verify compliance with the Childcare Act and pre-school quality standards.
