Peuterspeelgroep Het Valkhof

Peuterspeelgroep Het Valkhof is located in the Het Valkhof child centre at Schonauwen 2 in Roden. We provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years in two fixed groups: Monday through Thursday mornings and Tuesday through Friday mornings, from 8:30 AM to 11:15 AM. Each morning, up to 16 toddlers play and explore in our own child-friendly space. The room is arranged with various play-and-learn corners that stimulate the children’s development. We also have a sheltered outdoor area where toddlers can run, play and discover nature to their heart’s content. As a VVE (pre-school education) location we use the recognised Piramide programme. Themes from this programme are addressed playfully every morning and focus on every area of a child’s development. Our pedagogical staff create a safe, rich learning environment in which toddlers can grow in language, motor skills, social abilities and independence. We believe it is important that every child feels seen and valued, so we encourage their natural curiosity and initiative. After school hours our group room is used by the youngest after-school group of Kidscasa, with whom we work closely. This cooperation ensures a smooth transition and familiarity with the building when the children later move on to primary school. Parents can turn to us for expert advice and a warm welcome.
