Peuterspeelgroep Heisa Hop

Peuterspeelgroep Heisa Hop has been a familiar and trusted place in Lienden for many years. Since April 2012 we have continued as an independent playgroup, turning every morning into a celebration of play and learning for children aged 2 to 4. In our homely building at Mariëndaallaan 1 we welcome up to 16 toddlers who are free to develop at their own pace. Our permanent team consists of mothers who truly understand what children need. Trust and safety are our top priorities, which is why we always ensure a familiar face is present on the group. All staff and our two regular substitutes hold the required professional qualifications, a valid Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) and are subject to continuous government screening. Each year they attend refresher courses in emergency response and paediatric first aid. We prepare children for primary school through play by using the VVE programme Piramide by Cito. We have also completed the TINK training to further enhance our guidance of language and interaction skills. Since 1 February 2017 a paediatric educationalist has been part of our team, offering support whenever needed in guiding the children. Children receive a healthy snack and drinks at our setting; parents provide their own packed lunches. We play both indoors and in our secure garden, where nature and outdoor experiences are a natural part of the day. We sing, craft, read aloud and work with themed activities to stimulate every child’s development to the fullest.
