KDV Berend Botje location MFA Oosthuizen is a small-scale daycare center located in the multifunctional facility De Groote Molen at Seevancksweg 93 in Oosthuizen. We provide care for a maximum of 16 toddlers aged 2 to 4 years. Since August 29, 2016, we have been officially registered in the National Childcare Register under number 335098241, allowing parents to apply for childcare allowance. Our location follows a preschool education (VE) program that stimulates the broad development of toddlers in areas such as language, mathematics, social-emotional development, and motor skills. We use an accredited VE method that prepares toddlers for their start in grade 1 of primary school. Our pedagogical staff create an attractive and challenging environment, with play corners that connect to the current theme and focus on emerging literacy and numeracy skills of the children. We work in horizontal groups with children of the same age. Our pedagogical staff closely observe each child's development and create action plans when necessary. We actively keep parents informed about their child's progress and transfer information to the grade 1-2 teacher of primary school before a toddler turns four. Parents appreciate our approach and report that their children enjoy coming to our daycare. KDV Berend Botje location MFA Oosthuizen is part of Kindercentra Berend Botje Zeevang, an organization with multiple locations in the region. We are supervised by the GGD Zaanstreek/Waterland and continuously work on improving our quality through annual planning and staff training.
