Peuterspeelgroep De Huet

Peuterspeelgroep De Huet is located on the ground floor of primary school De Huet at Wolborgenmate 2 in Doetinchem. We provide care for up to 14 children aged 2 to 4 years. Our location works closely with the primary school, creating a smooth transition from toddler care to primary education. We use a horizontal group structure: toddlers are in their own group, separate from younger children. This provides calm and structure and allows us to offer activities that match their developmental level. Our certified pedagogical staff ensure a safe, development-oriented environment where every child receives personal attention and can be themselves. Toddlers have the space to play, discover and explore their talents. We offer pre-school education (VVE), focusing on language development, social-emotional skills and creative expression. Activities include crafts, reading aloud, singing and games that stimulate imagination. The play area is richly furnished with corners for building, role play, reading and movement. Outside, we have a safe, green playground where children can run, cycle and build sandcastles to their heart's content. Because we are located in the same building as the primary school, toddlers regularly visit the kindergarten classes. This familiarizes them with the school environment and makes the transition to group 1 a natural process. Parents can choose from various care days and times, always in consultation with the pedagogical staff. We value good coordination between home and care and keep parents informed of their child's development through a parent portal.
