Peuterspeelgroep Berend Botje

Peuterspeelgroep Berend Botje is located at Willinge Prinsstraat 24 in the centre of Oldeberkoop and is part of Stichting Scala. We provide toddler care for up to 16 children aged 2–4 in a single horizontal group. We are open three days a week: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 08:30 to 14:00. Our programme follows the nationally recognised Piramide method, a structured pre-school curriculum that fosters development in language, numeracy, motor skills and social-emotional growth. Our qualified staff receive annual training to keep their expertise up to date, and every child is assigned a personal mentor who monitors development and discusses progress with parents regularly. The setting is housed in the multifunctional ‘MeJander’ complex, offering a lively yet secure environment. Facilities include a dedicated group room, sanitary area, kitchen/office and a private outdoor playground. Fruit is provided; other care products and meals should be brought from home. At Berend Botje we encourage children to explore shared values through play, helping them build respectful relationships and feel emotionally secure.
