Welcome to KDV Berend Botje location Pippeloentje Wervershoof, situated at Dorpsstraat 177B in the heart of Wervershoof. As part of childcare organization Berend Botje, this small-scale daycare centre offers places for up to 32 children aged 0 to 4 years. We provide a safe, familiar environment where every child is free to be themselves and to grow. Our approach follows Berend Botje’s pedagogical vision: children develop best through play. Our experienced pedagogical staff offer daily, age-appropriate activities that match each child’s developmental stage. We use horizontal grouping, keeping babies and toddlers separate from the older preschoolers to ensure calm, structure and optimal attention for every child. For the youngest ones we supply formula (Hero Baby or Nutrilon) and support breastfeeding. Diapers, wipes and care products are all included. Healthy meals are served: fresh bread with toppings in the morning, fruit as a snack and, if desired, a warm, freshly prepared lunch around noon. If your child has allergies or dietary requirements we are happy to adapt our meals accordingly. Each child has their own cot in our quiet sleeping rooms. We follow the sleep routine you use at home and can also offer outdoor naps if parents wish. Through our secure Parent App you receive daily photos and reports so you can share in your child’s experiences. We use the Child Tracking System (KVS) to monitor your child’s development and discuss the findings with you in an annual parent meeting. The centre is open 51 weeks a year, Monday to Friday.
