Welcome to KDV Berend Botje, location Maria Bernadette, situated in the heart of Medemblik at Bagijnhof 39. As part of the larger Berend Botje family, we provide professional daycare for children aged 0 to 4 years at this location. We are housed within the Maria-Bernadette primary school building and share facilities with the school. This unique collaboration creates a familiar and safe environment where your child can develop optimally. At Berend Botje, we believe that children grow through play. Our pedagogical staff create a warm and challenging environment where your child has the space to be themselves and discover their talents. We work with a child tracking system (KVS) through which we closely monitor your child's development. Our staff regularly observe how your child is doing and how they are developing. Once a year, we invite you for a 10-minute conversation to discuss the findings. For the youngest children, we provide bottle feeding and breastfeeding tailored to your child's needs. We take dietary requirements and allergies into account and serve a warm meal daily. Our location is open 51 weeks per year from Monday to Friday. We are closed on generally recognized public holidays and the week between Christmas and New Year. For holiday care, you can use our childminder agency without additional mediation costs. Communication with parents is very important to us. Through our secure Parent App, you can see photos and reports of your child's activities. This allows you to enjoy your child's daily experiences together at home. We work with a parent committee that advises management and serves as a contact point for parents. Annual parent meetings and regular satisfaction surveys ensure that we continuously optimize our quality. Our Medemblik location accommodates up to 27 children aged 0 to 4 years. We work with horizontal groups where children are grouped by age. This provides a safe and development-oriented environment where your child feels at home.
