Peuterschool Paul Kruger

Peuterschool Paul Kruger is located at Fischerstraat 133 in the Transvaal district of The Hague. We are part of the Stichting Christelijk Onderwijs Haaglanden (SCOH) foundation and provide toddler care with a clear focus on preparing children for primary school. The centre has a maximum capacity of 16 children per day. Our groups are horizontally structured: children aged 2½ to 4 are placed together in one age group. Every morning we implement an official Early Childhood Education (VVE) programme. Through play, toddlers practise language, numeracy, motor skills and social abilities so that they can start primary school with confidence. Our qualified staff follow national VVE guidelines and tailor activities to each child’s developmental stage. We follow a fixed daily rhythm that offers calm and consistency. The day begins with a joint welcome song, followed by free play where children can choose between different corners: construction, reading, home and creative areas. Next comes a circle time for storytelling, singing and discussing weekly themes. The morning ends with outdoor play in our safe, green playground. As a peuterschool without full daycare facilities, we operate only half-day sessions (morning or afternoon). Parents can opt for 2, 3 or 5 sessions per week. Parents are asked to provide their child’s own packed lunch and drink; meals and care products are therefore not included in our service. Sleeping facilities are not available. Peuterschool Paul Kruger is a Dutch-speaking location. Communication with parents takes place through a parent portal and a weekly newsletter. New families are warmly invited to come and meet our enthusiastic team.
