Peuterpost Olst

Peuterpost Olst is a warm and small-scale daycare centre for children aged 2 to 4, located at L.H. Pottstraat 16 in Olst. We are part of Kinderopvang KOOS, a trusted organisation in Salland and Apeldoorn that has been providing childcare with heart for children for over 20 years. At Peuterpost we consciously choose togetherness. We literally share one roof with primary school Opwaardz and after-school care Musketier, ensuring a smooth and familiar transition from toddler care to school. Our two fixed groups are guided by permanent pedagogical staff who truly know every child. We work with horizontal groups, so children play and learn with peers of the same age. Playing and developing go hand in hand with us. We follow the Uk & Puk programme, which playfully stimulates language, motor skills and social skills. In our spacious group room there is plenty of room to discover, build, craft or quietly read a book. We read aloud regularly and make time for cosy conversations, so that vocabulary and sentences keep growing. Outside is just as nice. Our children play daily on the spacious, green playground with swings, a slide, climbing equipment and bikes. Of course we also learn from nature: we notice the seasons, feel, smell and hear everything around us. We have short lines with speech therapy and the child health clinic, so that extra support can be arranged quickly and easily. Peuterpost is VVE registered. This means we work towards a flying start for primary school, without ever becoming performance pressure. We provide care Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm (morning) and from 1.00 pm to 5.00 pm (afternoon). Half-days are always possible.
