Peuterpoort

Peuterpoort is part of Spelenderwijs Ede and is located inside primary school Uniek in the Maandereng district. We provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 in a safe, homely setting. Our two toddler groups – Peuterpoort and Pipeloen – follow the Piramide method and are organised as small, horizontal groups, giving every child room to develop at their own pace. Learning through play is our guiding principle. In our spacious classrooms you will find a construction corner, puzzle and game tables, a dress-up area and a home corner. These carefully designed zones spark toddlers’ curiosity and stimulate language, motor and social skills. Outside, children can run, climb and explore in the secure school playground. We work with weekly themes; each new theme offers inspiration for stories, songs, crafts and play. During the morning session (08:30 – 12:30) the children receive a healthy snack and a drink. Parents are actively involved: we organise parent evenings and celebrate birthdays and special occasions together on the group. This creates a familiar environment where both child and parent quickly feel at home. Peuterpoort is designed for the young explorer who is ready for a first step outside the home. We prepare toddlers for primary school in a playful way and give every child the personal attention they deserve.
