Peuteropvang De Vlinders is part of the Integral Child Centre (IKC) Meerlanden in Enschede. Together with OBS Het Vastert, CBS Drakensteyn, Basisschool Bomans and after-school care De Knalhut, we form one close-knit team offering children from 0 to 13 years a continuous development and learning path. Our site is located at Reerinklanden 55, right next to the primary schools, so transitions later on run smoothly. Everything we do revolves around your toddler. We provide a safe, small-scale environment where children aged 2 to 4 can develop through play. Our qualified pedagogical staff create a warm atmosphere in which every child feels seen and valued. We follow fixed daily rhythms that focus on language, motor skills and social development. Through theme-based activities we read aloud every day, sing songs and make full use of our spacious, green outdoor playground. This natural garden invites discovery, climbing, sand play and cooperation. Peuteropvang De Vlinders is an official Early Childhood Education (VVE) site. This means we offer two additional sessions of pre- and early-school education each week. During these sessions we playfully focus on language, numeracy and social skills, always aligned with the toddler’s world of experience. Think of themes such as ‘the forest’, ‘the hospital’ or ‘the seasons’. Parents receive photos, short reports and tips via our parent app to continue the learning at home. Our opening hours are flexible: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 08:30 to 12:30 and Wednesday and Friday from 08:30 to 17:30. Half-day care is therefore always possible. Together with parents we look at which schedule best suits your family. We value parental involvement: through parent meetings, themed mornings and joint excursions we stay connected.
