Peuteropvang Vesterhavet

Peuteropvang Vesterhavet is located within primary school Vesterhavet at Skagerrak 170 in Hoofddorp. We provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years in a safe and welcoming environment. Since March 2022, our location has been housed within the school building, allowing us to offer a seamless transition between toddler care and kindergarten education. We use the recognized VE method Piramide to stimulate the broad development of toddlers in areas such as language, mathematics, social-emotional development and motor skills. Our pedagogical staff create an attractive and functional environment with play corners and learning materials that connect to the current theme. We consciously focus on language stimulation and vocabulary development. Outside, we have access to a large schoolyard with swings, sandbox, playhouse and fruit trees. This natural play environment offers plenty of opportunities for discovery and movement. We work in small groups where each child receives the attention they need. The atmosphere in our group is warm and inviting. We have close cooperation with the primary school where we regularly use each other's facilities. This allows our toddlers to get used to the school environment. We actively inform parents about their child's development through newsletters and the parent portal. Together with parents, we form a partnership in the development of their child.
