Peuteropvang Toermalijn

Peuteropvang Toermalijn is located in the heart of Rotterdam at Eendrachtsstraat 151, close to two primary schools. We offer a safe, small-scale environment for toddlers aged 2 to 4, where children learn through play. Indoors, inviting corners filled with age-appropriate materials encourage children to explore independently. Outdoors, a spacious playground with swings, a hill, slide, wooden playhouse, trikes and chalk stimulates motor skills and social interaction. Our programme follows the official Early Childhood Education curriculum Uk & Puk. Themes such as ‘This is me!’ and ‘Enjoy your meal!’ connect to toddlers’ daily experiences and foster language, motor and social development. We hold detailed developmental reviews with parents twice a year and share daily updates at pick-up and drop-off. Parental involvement is key: we provide theme word cards for home practice, invite parents to festive brunches and organise trips to the petting farm.
