Peuteropvang 't Krakelingetje

Peuteropvang ’t Krakelingetje is located in Dorpshuis De Krakeling, right in the centre of Heukelum. We provide small-scale, professional care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 in one vertical group. The location has its own sheltered outdoor play area with a large sandpit and trees that provide shade. Outdoor play is a fixed part of the daily routine; children are free to run, cycle and make plenty of noise. We devote extra attention to early childhood education (VE). All activities are tailored to the developmental needs of toddlers, allowing them to practise the skills they will need at school while they play. Whenever the programme and circumstances allow, we take short trips in the village, for example to the playground or the supermarket, so the children can explore the world around them and make new discoveries. Our qualified pedagogical staff are ready to offer your child a safe, familiar place where they can develop to the full. We believe that children only learn and play when they feel emotionally and physically secure. That is why we work from a basis of trust, calm and structure, attuned to the toddler’s world of experience.
