Peuteropvang 't Hummelke is a small-scale, welcoming toddler care centre run by Flow Kinderopvang, located inside primary school An d’r Put at Pastoor Scheepersstraat 9, Landgraaf. We welcome children aged 2 to 4 years and provide a stimulating environment where they learn and discover through play. Our centre has its own outdoor playground and a cosy, softly-coloured hall with themed play corners and plenty of age-appropriate toys. We follow the Dutch pre-school education programme (VVE) called ‘Speelplezier’. Language development is at the heart of every activity: we sing songs, read stories, craft, build and explore both indoors and in the garden. Each morning begins with a shared breakfast and fruit time—parents supply healthy fruit in line with our nutrition policy. The daily rhythm is clearly structured with circle-time, free play and guided activities that match the children’s world of experience. Two permanent, qualified pedagogical staff create a safe, predictable atmosphere for a maximum of 16 children. Care is offered 16 hours a week during 40 school weeks; parents choose either two or three fixed morning sessions. Through our parent app you receive photos, messages and can easily report absence. Close cooperation with An d’r Put ensures a smooth transition to the school’s reception class, making the step to primary school feel natural and familiar for every child.
