Peuteropvang 't Beertje

Welcome to Peuteropvang ’t Beertje, part of Kinderopvang KiWi, located at Hoofdweg 231 in the centre of Bellingwolde. Every morning from 8:00 to 12:00 we provide a safe, small-scale environment for up to 16 toddlers aged 2 to 4. Our space is purpose-built with themed play corners and developmentally appropriate materials that match the world of young children. Three permanent, qualified pedagogical professionals give each child the individual attention they deserve. By using horizontal groups we can focus specifically on the developmental stage of the toddler. Our activities are designed to foster language, motor skills and social abilities through play—think story time, singing, arts & crafts and construction, always tuned to the child’s own rhythm. ’t Beertje is an accredited Early Childhood Education (VVE) site. This means we devote extra attention to language development and school readiness, so children can start primary school with confidence. Children with a VVE referral may attend four mornings a week at no extra cost. Working or studying parents can also claim childcare allowance. Our location has its own outdoor playground where children can enjoy fresh air and burn off energy every day. Safety comes first: the entrance is secured and only accessible with permission from our team. Drinks and a healthy piece of fruit are included during the morning. In short, at ’t Beertje toddlers find a second home where they can develop, explore and—most importantly—have lots of fun through play.
