Peuteropvang Spring in 't Veld

Welcome to Peuteropvang Spring in ’t Veld, located at Snelliuslaan 33 in the heart of Badhoevedorp. We are part of Stichting Kinderopvang Haarlemmermeer and offer children aged 2 to 4 a safe, small-scale place where fun and development go hand in hand. Our two horizontal groups – Blue Group and Red Group – each welcome a maximum of 16 toddlers in an orderly and familiar setting. The day starts at 07:30 with a warm welcome at the door. After waving goodbye to mum or dad, our Good-morning song signals circle time. Together we count how many friends are present and use picture cards to explain what we will do that morning. Free play follows, either inside in our richly arranged corners or outside in the secure garden – weather permitting. Every morning includes interactive story time, followed by a second activity such as crafting, painting or working with different materials to stimulate fine motor skills. After the tidy-up song we share fruit and a drink. We end the morning with a communal sandwich at the table. Parents can pick up their adventurous toddler at 12:30. We work with the developmental programme Piramide. Through changing themes – think seasons, animals or traffic – we offer challenging activities that naturally boost language, motor skills and social abilities. For children from 3 years old there is the Friday-afternoon 3+ enrichment group: extra preparation for primary school in which we playfully practise skills that will soon be useful in groups 1 and 2. Our qualified pedagogical staff are ready every morning to welcome child and parent personally. We value parental involvement; during the drop-in quarter parents can already play together with the theme material that is set out. Together we create a trusted bridge between home and care.
