Welcome to Peuteropvang Samen Spelen Wyck, located in the vibrant Wyck district at Wycker Grachtstraat 4A in Maastricht. We are part of Kindcentrum Samen Wyck, where together with Basisschool Wyck and Radar we form a warm and inclusive child center. With us, everything revolves around playing together and growing together. Our toddler group Purple is specially designed for children aged 2 to 4 years. We work in a small-scale, cozy setting where each child gets the space to develop at their own pace. Learning through play is central: we offer challenging activities in our themed corners such as the home corner, construction corner, reading corner and the atelier. The materials always connect to changing themes, allowing toddlers to discover the world around them in a playful way. We work with the VVE method 'Speelplezier', which perfectly matches the development of toddlers. This method stimulates language development, social skills and creativity. We regularly organize joint activities with the kindergarten children from the elementary school, creating a smooth preparation for primary school. Our professional pedagogical staff guide the children with lots of warmth and attention, so that every child feels safe and secure. At Peuteropvang Samen Spelen Wyck we believe it's important that every child belongs. We celebrate the differences between children and ensure that every child can be themselves. Our care is available Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, allowing us to offer a calm and structured daily routine.
