Peuteropvang Regenboog

Welcome to Peuteropvang Regenboog, part of IRIS Christelijke Kindcentra, located at Westenbergstraat 28 in the heart of Wilsum. We provide toddler care (POV) for children aged 2 to 4 in a homely, safe setting. Our space is furnished with natural materials and stimulating toys that spark curiosity and imaginative play. Children can enjoy crafts, dancing, reading books and playing outside in the schoolyard. We work thematically, offering activities that connect with your child’s world. Examples include building with blocks, a dress-up corner, kitchen corner and creative table activities using fabric, paper, wood and metal. Outdoors there is a renewed play area with natural elements for climbing, jumping and balancing. Our pedagogical staff closely follow each child’s development and tailor activities to personal interests and needs. We align with your child’s age and preferences and lovingly encourage growth. Ample attention is given to language development, motor skills and social abilities. We playfully prepare toddlers for primary school, including familiarisation with school corridors and teachers. Diapers are included and for snacks we serve fruit, cherry tomatoes or other vegetable snacks. We are open Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 8:15 AM to 12:15 PM. During the 12 school holiday weeks there is no toddler care. Feel free to drop by for a visit!
