Peuteropvang Pluk Schinveld

Peuteropvang Pluk Schinveld has been a trusted place for toddlers in Schinveld for over 44 years. We are located at Kloosterlaan 7c and work closely with primary school Schinveld as a VVE partner. Each session we provide space for 16 toddlers, who are guided by two qualified pedagogical staff members. On Tuesday and Wednesday mornings we are supported by regular volunteers. All our staff and volunteers have a Certificate of Conduct and are registered in the Childcare Personnel Register. We use the VVE method 'Speelplezier' (Playful Fun). This method stimulates children in their development in a playful way. We work with themes that are recognizable for toddlers. Around a theme we offer new words through storytelling, songs, craft activities, movement education and guided play. The available toys, materials and activities are adapted to the theme. In this way, toddlers become part of the theme and become curious about discovering new knowledge and possibilities. Speelplezier provides a good foundation for Dutch language skills. The theme and all activities are shared with parents through newsletters and parent meetings, so that the interaction between parent and child is promoted and can be practiced at home with the words offered at the toddler care. We find contact with parents very important and are your partner for up to two years in guiding your toddler.
