Peuteropvang Piggelmee

Welcome to Peuteropvang Piggelmee, located at Leerdamseweg 1 in the heart of Asperen. Under the roof of the De Blokkendoos community school, we provide professional toddler care for children aged 2 to 4. Our location is carefully designed and offers your toddler plenty of space to play and explore both indoors and outdoors. The play area consists of different corners where children can read, build, do puzzles and play. There is always a nice spot to develop through play. Outdoor play is a fixed part of our daily programme. The outdoor area is set up so that children can release their energy: cycling around, climbing on play equipment or building sandcastles. We work with themes that connect to the children's world of experience and use the recognised Piramide method to stimulate broad development. This always happens in small groups, so that each child receives the attention it deserves. Peuteropvang Piggelmee works intensively with primary schools De Open Poort and De Zandheuvel. This collaboration ensures a smooth transition to primary school. For children with a VE indication, we offer pre-school education, paying extra attention to language, numeracy and social skills. Children attend at least two half-days per week and the toddler care is closed during school holidays. We believe that children thrive best in a safe and familiar environment.
