Peuteropvang Peutererf (IKC Cormorant)

Peuteropvang Peutererf is a toddler day-care centre run by gro-up in the Schollevaar district of Capelle aan den IJssel, right next to the beautiful Schollebos woods. Here your child develops naturally through play, with special attention given to the Dutch language. Have you met Puk yet? Puk is a puppet and part of the Uk & Puk programme. This pre-school educational programme teaches your child important skills through themes that match his or her world of experience. Puk joins in every activity and dares to try anything. In this way Puk helps your child discover and understand the world. The children enjoy our welcoming setting every single day. Indoors we have created different play corners, giving your child plenty of room to explore and develop personal interests and talents. Outdoors we have our own cosy playground where children can play safely. In addition, a small group of children also uses the playground of De Catamaran primary school. We work closely with public primary school De Catamaran. We regularly align our theme weeks and celebrate holidays such as King’s Day and the summer festival together. When your child turns four and starts primary school, we provide a comprehensive hand-over report, whether you choose De Catamaran or another school.
