Peuteropvang Park Stokhorst

Peuteropvang Park Stokhorst is a small-scale, welcoming toddler day-care centre run by Stichting Humankind, located on the grounds of Park Stokhorst primary school at Hoge Boekelerweg 135, Enschede. We provide care for up to 16 children aged 2 to 4 years. Our programme is built around learning through play: we sing songs together, do arts & crafts, read aloud and play games that foster language development. Every morning our qualified staff offer a safe and stimulating environment where children learn to play together, share and express themselves. The centre is recognised for early childhood education (VE), which means we follow a structured curriculum that prepares children well for primary school. Each child is welcome two mornings a week; children with a referral from the child health clinic for extra stimulation may attend four mornings, eight hours of which are free of charge. Fees are income-related: the lower your income, the smaller your contribution. We work closely with the primary school and make use of the secure outdoor play area.
