Peuteropvang Onze Wereld

Peuteropvang Onze Wereld is located right inside primary school Onze Wereld at Cornelis Danckertsstraat 34 in Rotterdam. We share all facilities with the school and have our own secure outdoor area next to the playground. Toddlers feel at home immediately: everything is tailored to their size and, when the time comes, the move to the kindergarten classes is seamless because they already know the teachers and their future classmates. A morning with us is a morning of learning through play. We work in small, same-age groups so every child receives the attention they deserve. Our gro-up pedagogical staff create a warm, safe environment where toddlers learn to make their own choices. Children can paint independently at the easels, explore in the reading corner or build with our inviting play and discovery shelves. A helping hand is always nearby for those who need it. During play we focus on language and early maths. We sing songs, count blocks, name colours and seasons and practise new words, all perfectly matched to a toddler’s world. We regularly take short trips in the neighbourhood and use our own garden to explore nature. Fruit and drinks are included and we naturally accommodate allergies. Parents are kept personally informed through short ten-minute conversations and we warmly invite you to come and see how a toddler morning unfolds.
