Peuteropvang Nuther Grut

Welcome to Peuteropvang Nuther Grut, located at Keelkampstraat 66 in the centre of Nuth. For over 40 years we have been part of Stichting Kinderopvang Nuth, offering a trusted place where children aged 2 to 4 develop through play. Our setting is organised horizontally: all toddlers are grouped with peers of the same age, ensuring activities and guidance match their developmental stage perfectly. We work according to the Dutch Early Childhood Education programme (VVE). Our experienced pedagogical staff focus on stimulating cognitive and social skills through recognised VVE curricula such as ‘Uk & Puk’ and ‘Schatkist’. Language, numeracy, social-emotional and motor development are offered in a playful way. Toddlers receive 16 hours per week spread over at least three half-days; parents can choose a fixed schedule that best suits the family. Our spacious group room is cosily arranged with different learning corners: a construction area, reading corner, home corner and a creative table where we regularly do arts and crafts. The garden borders the building and offers safe outdoor play with natural play equipment, a sandpit and a small vegetable patch. Whenever the weather allows, we play outside and children learn about seasons, plants and animals through play. We value healthy nutrition. Fruit and drinks are included; accommodating allergies or special dietary needs is a matter of course. Parents receive a developmental report twice a year and we actively invite you to parent meetings and themed afternoons. Together we ensure your child can move on to primary school with joy and confidence.
