Peuteropvang Meander

Peuteropvang Meander is located at De Hucht 2 in Heiloo and is part of Stichting Forte Kinderopvang. We are situated in a dedicated classroom within primary school De Meander. The space is clearly laid out and spacious, with various corners where children can retreat and explore play materials at their own pace. Children can also play in the sheltered, enclosed patio in the centre of the building and make use of De Meander’s schoolyard. A special feature in our room is a wooden tree, crafted by the woodworking department of the Sint Willibrordusstichting. This tree plays a central role in the seasons the children experience with us and sets the rhythm for their activities. We offer a pre-school education programme (VVE) and work closely with the primary school to ensure a smooth transition to group 1. We are open Monday and Thursday mornings and Tuesday and Friday mornings from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. During school holidays we are closed. The minimum attendance is two mornings per week. Registration is possible from the age of 1; children are admitted from the age of 2 (VVE children from 2.5 years). We have a maximum capacity of 16 children. The familiar faces of Arja and Carla provide a sense of security.
