Peuteropvang Kwestkoters, Druivenstraat

Welcome to Peuteropvang KwestKoters, Druivenstraat – a warm, small-scale toddler care centre in the heart of Naaldwijk, part of Stichting Kwest. Since January 2024 we welcome toddlers aged 2 and 3 in a safe and stimulating environment where fun, development and personal attention are key. At KwestKoters children attend four hours a day, Monday to Friday from 8.15 am to 12.15 pm. We work with small groups of up to 16 children and are staffed every day by three experienced pedagogical professionals. This allows us to give real time and attention to each child and to closely follow their development. Our programme focuses on learning through play and language development. We offer a variety of activities that match the world of toddlers: arts and crafts, reading aloud, singing and theme-based work. We regularly go on excursions, for example to the library or the nature garden. Children with a language delay receive extra support so they can start primary school with confidence. We actively involve parents in our approach. We keep brief but meaningful contact at drop-off and pick-up, share photos and stories and invite parents to join in or observe. This way parents can continue the weekly theme at home and everyone feels involved in their child’s development. Peuteropvang KwestKoters follows the Early Childhood Education (ECE) method Uk & Puk. This method stimulates speech and language skills, social-emotional development, motor skills and the first numeracy concepts in a playful way. We observe and record each child’s development using the ‘Kijk!’ method and tailor our activities accordingly. Our centre is located at Druivenstraat 30, on the same grounds as Kindercentrum DoReMi. We have access to a spacious green garden with a real greenhouse. Outdoor play is very important for toddlers: they can run, explore, play together and burn off energy. We have a separate outdoor area that is safely fenced for our youngest guests. KwestKoters Druivenstraat has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 1 January 2024 under number 327219415. We offer both subsidised and regular places.
