Kleine Beer

Peuteropvang Kleine Beer is located in the multifunctional Meerestein building at van der Hoopstraat 80 in Beverwijk. We share the premises with primary school De Sterrekijker and daycare Partou. Kleine Beer has two bright classrooms and its own secure outdoor play area where children can play and explore to their heart’s content. Our toddler care is designed for children aged 2 to 4. We work with horizontal groups, bringing together toddlers of similar ages. This provides calm and familiarity for the children. Our pedagogical staff ensure that every child feels safe and confident. Only then can a child be curious about their surroundings and open to learning and development. We use the preschool program Uk en Puk. This program stimulates toddlers’ language development and social-emotional skills in a playful and natural way. Through thematic work, stories, songs and activities, children discover the world around them. Kleine Beer offers tailored care. We understand that every parent and every child is unique. Therefore, we offer flexible childcare options, including half-days. We work closely with parents to align the care with the needs of the child and the family.
