Peuteropvang Juultje is specially designed for children aged 2 to 4 and is located at Koningin Emmalaan 45 in Leerdam. We share a bright and spacious building with primary school Juliana and after-school care BSO Hofkanjers, so your toddler becomes familiar with the school setting at an early age. Indoors we have set up different play corners where children can build, do puzzles or play in the home corner, stimulating their development in a playful way. We believe movement is important. That is why the children play outside every day on our friendly outdoor area with fun play equipment and a sandbox. There is plenty of space to cycle and run. Soon, the toddlers will also be able to play on an interactive movement floor: a special mat on which they discover educational games that stimulate movement and interaction. Eating together is a cosy and educational moment. Around the end of the morning all children eat a sandwich together. This takes place in a calm setting where we pay attention to table manners and sharing food and drinks. Our toddler care works with a recognised Early Childhood Education (VE) programme. We use themes that connect to toddlers’ world of experience and prepare them playfully for primary school. We observe each child closely and tailor activities to his or her pace and interests. Our pedagogical professionals are ready to give your toddler a warm welcome and provide the space to grow in a safe and familiar environment.
