Peuteropvang het Ganzennest

Peuteropvang Het Ganzennest is located in the heart of Moerkapelle, inside the community centre Op Moer. We provide playful and safe toddler care for children aged 2 to 4. Our bright, spacious rooms are designed around the world of toddlers: in the play corners children decide for themselves whether to build in the construction area, cook in the play kitchen or simply run around. Afterwards there is time for a quiet story on the sofa. Outdoor play is central to our approach. From the group we step straight into the lovely outside area with a sandpit and a square for cycling. Rain or shine, we go outside every day. On ‘Mud Day’ the children make their own mud and are allowed to get wonderfully messy. Twice a week we offer toddler gym, indoors or outdoors. Movement and language go hand in hand: by combining physical play with fun, children develop both motor skills and language. We regularly organise activities together with parents and grandparents, such as the Toddler Four-Day Walk and Grandparents’ Day. During the Children’s Book Week and National Reading Days we collaborate with primary school De Keijzerschool; we read aloud and create beautiful crafts. The community centre then turns into a children’s museum. When your child is almost four, we prepare them together with OBS De Keijzerschool and CBS De Rehoboth for the step to primary school.
