PO De Kruidenhoek

Peuteropvang Geelkruid is located in the green Ommoord district of Rotterdam and offers care for up to 32 children aged 2 to 4. We operate two small, horizontal toddler groups: the Kwettertjes and the Boefjes. Each group has its own qualified, permanent pedagogical staff who truly know your child and guide their development. Our spacious, bright rooms feature creative corners such as a construction area and a home corner where your toddler can cook, build and explore role-play. We follow the VVE programme Puk, which stimulates language, numeracy and social skills through play. Every day we go outside to our newly renovated green playground: sand play, climbing, scrambling and cycling are all on the agenda. In addition to daily play, we organise special events for both child and parent. Think of the Gro-up Toddler Four-Day Walk, reading aloud during Children's Book Week, Mud Day and a cheerful summer party. The school photographer also visits annually to capture these memories. Peuteropvang Geelkruid is small-scale, clear and works closely with local primary schools to ensure a smooth transition to primary education.
