Peuteropvang Emmermeer

Peuteropvang Emmermeer is located on the ground floor of Openbare Basisschool Emmermeer at Middenhaag 4 in the Emmermeer district of Emmen. We provide a safe, homely place for up to 16 children aged 2.5 to 4 years. Our aim is to prepare children for primary school in a playful yet structured way. We therefore use an Early Childhood Education (VVE) programme that stimulates language, numeracy and social skills. The groups are horizontally arranged, so all children share roughly the same developmental stage and we can offer targeted activities. Care takes place on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. During these mornings the children have plenty of opportunity to play, craft, sing and learn. We work closely with the primary school, ensuring a smooth transition to group 1. Our qualified pedagogical staff are ready to give your child a warm welcome and guide their development at their own pace.
