Peuteropvang Earnewâld

Peuteropvang Earnewâld is located at Eilânsgrien 17, right next to primary school Master Frankeskoalle in the centre of Earnewâld. We provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 in a safe, familiar environment where every child is free to be themselves. Our group is officially recognised for early childhood education (VE) and uses proven programmes that prepare toddlers for Year 1 through play. A morning with us starts at 8.30 a.m. with free play and a circle time. Afterwards we go outside; in our garden the children can run, climb and explore while developing their gross motor skills. Around 11.30 a.m. we sing the ‘Enjoy your meal’ song, wash our hands and sit down together for a sandwich and a drink. We encourage the toddlers to spread their own toppings and allow plenty of room for cheerful conversation. At 12.30 p.m. it is pick-up time; parents are welcome to step inside and speak briefly with the pedagogical staff member on duty about the morning’s experiences. Every child is assigned a personal mentor: a member of our pedagogical team who tracks development, guides the settling-in period and is the fixed point of contact for parents. Observations are recorded in our digital child-tracking system and discussed during parent consultations. We tailor our approach precisely to what your child needs and challenge them to develop at their own pace. Our care is bilingual Dutch/Frisian and takes place on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., including lunch. During school holidays we are closed according to the Ministry of Education calendar. We regard parents as partners: together we ensure a smooth transition to primary school.
