Peuteropvang Dribbel

Peuteropvang Dribbel is located in the De Zicht village hall at Marktplein 10 in the centre of Ederveen. As part of the regional childcare organisation Spelenderwijs, we offer a warm, small-scale setting for up to 16 toddlers aged 2 to 4. Our spacious group room is divided into several play corners: a reading corner, a construction corner, a dolls’ corner and a creative corner with craft and drawing materials. Large windows give a view of the pleasant outdoor area where children play and explore every day. We follow the Pyramid method, a recognised Early Childhood Education programme that stimulates language development and school readiness in a playful way. Every two to four weeks we start a new theme – for example ‘the forest’, ‘animals’ or ‘traffic’. Within that theme we read books, sing songs, do crafts and practise vocabulary. Spelenderwijs’ pedagogical staff guide the children with passion and commitment, making every day a celebration. Parents are always welcome. We regularly organise coffee mornings and themed evenings to discuss the children’s wellbeing and actively involve parents. Thanks to our location in De Zicht village hall, we also make use of activities offered by the hall, such as music and dance sessions.
